Engineered Units

The engineered templates that ship today and what each one models. All seven are published.

Which simulation? Every unit below runs in the client-side, PLC-style scan simulation in your browser. None of them is the server-side biokinetic process simulation (ASM1/ASM2d/ASM3/ADM1, Takács clarifier) described under Simulation. See Which "simulation" this section is about.

"Asked on drop" shows new / existing where the unit has that axis, and a single number where it deliberately does not. Fault counts are the catalogue size before filtering to the instruments your configuration actually has.

All seven are seeded at published maturity, so every user who passes the plan, tenant and allocation gates sees them. Chemical Dosing and Storm Overflow Chamber were promoted on 2026-10-24. A dash means the unit's page does not state that count. See Why you may not see them in the stencil yet.

Not to be confused with the Chemical Dosing Skid. The template called Chemical Dosing Skid (chemical-dosing-skid) is published but ordinary: it places a bunded bulk store and a duty/standby dosing skid as geometry, with no engineering block and no workspace. See Drawing Templates.

How these pages are written

Every figure on a unit page is read from the unit's own generator, plant model and reference case. The "reference configuration" numbers quoted on each page are the template's own defaults — the frozen case the unit's automated suites assert against — so they tell you the shape and units of what a port publishes, not what your configuration will publish.

Thousands of automated tests cover these models. Nobody has recorded watching one of these units run in a browser, so where a page could only describe on-screen behaviour by assumption, it says so instead.
