Engineered Templates — Index

Engineered templates are Level-1 drawing templates that carry their own engineering: a plant model, generated control logic, an I/O schedule, an alarm schedule, a calculation sheet and a control philosophy — plus a workspace where the placed unit can be run.

Which simulation? The workspace's Simulate view is a client-side, PLC-style scan simulation of one placed unit, running in your browser. It is not the server-side biokinetic process simulation (ASM1/ASM2d/ASM3/ADM1, Takács clarifier) documented under Simulation.

OverviewWhat an engineered template is, how it differs from an ordinary template, which "simulation" this is, what ships today, and why you may not see them yet
Placing an Engineered TemplateThe drag, the Confirm key parameters step, and what happens on Place and generate
The Template WorkspaceOpening the workspace, and all nine views — live schematic, Simulate, Control loops, Signals, Calculations, Documents, Parameters
Engineered UnitsThe seven seeded units, all published

The seven units

UnitWhat it models
Wastewater Pumping StationA wet well with submersible pumps on a common rising main
Flow Balancing TankA flow-equalisation vessel holding a controlled pass-forward
Aeration Blower SetBlowers on a common air header to fine-bubble diffusers
Flow to Full Treatment ControlAn inlet chamber holding the consented flow and spilling the rest
Storm TankTwo-compartment storm storage returning at the spare capacity upstream
Chemical DosingBulk storage and duty/standby metering pumps dosing a purchased chemical
Storm Overflow ChamberFixed throttle, derived weir crest and powered screen on a combined sewer
